Like Crazy

Like Crazy is a romantic drama film from 2011, directed by Drake Doremus. It is characterized mainly by its improvised dialogues. The film won the 2011 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize in the category of Best Film.

Action

The British college student Anna falls in love with their American classmates Jacob, and the two experience in Los Angeles in a passionate affair. As Anna, who has exceeded her student visa, returning from a trip to London, her entry into the United States is denied, she returned to England. The couple is forced to lead a long-distance relationship.

Jacob visits Anna so often allow him his professional commitments while Anna's parents try to challenge with the help of a lawyer, the entry ban in court. Anna's father proposes marriage. However, Jacob returns for the time being left alone in the States and begins a relationship with his colleague Samantha. Anna, who suffers from the separation, Jacob is now proposing even marriage. The couple married in England. It is advised them to wait 6 months before Anna applied for a visa. As even now no visa is granted, the marriage begins to kriseln, and both begin relationships with other partners. Anna is promoted and her new boyfriend Simon makes her a marriage proposal. As Anna's entry lock is released, it returns to a friend, job and apartment and flies to Los Angeles to Jacob. The first encounter is rather cool and distant.

The film ends with the sequence of a common shower, with overlays from happier times. As the relationship between the two will continue, remains unclear.
