Likino-Dulyovo

Likino - Duljowo (Russian Ликино - Дулёво ) is a city in Russia with 31 321 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ). It is located in the Moscow Oblast, about 100 km east of Moscow and 10 km south of the city Orechowo - Zuyevo.

History

The modern city emerged from the two villages Likino and Duljowo. Latter since the 1830s, was known by a resident here porcelain manufactory, and in Likino existed since 1870, a textile factory. In 1930 the two villages were merged into a working class neighborhood called Likino - Duljowo, which received city rights in 1937.

Economy and Transport

Nowadays there are more Likino - Duljowo several key industries: Founded in 1832 Duljowoer porcelain factory, now one of the largest of its kind in Russia, the textile factory founded in 1870, and since 1959 the bus station Lias, which to this day Russia's best-known manufacturers of buses for public transport part. It is also known existing since 1931 Duljowoer paint factory.

Traffic Technically, the city is accessible via the A108 ring road, a little further north (near Orechowo - Zuyevo ) runs the M7 highway. The city has a regional railway station on the Great Moscow Ring Railway.

Attractions

The most famous building Likino - Duljowos is the cultural home of the porcelain factory, designed 1927-1929 by the famous architect Konstantin Melnikov.
