Lilli the Witch
Lilly the Witch is a children's book series of crackles (real name Ludger Jochmann ), drawn by the Berlin graphic artist Birgit Rieger.
History
The books around Hexe Lilli appear since 1992 in Würzburg Arena Verlag. The first band is called " Lilly the Witch conjures homework". Since then, the author crackle and the illustrator Birgit Rieger can look back on a long history of success: More than 22 volumes comprising the series, in addition to the original Lilly the Witch series, there are Hexe Lilli for beginning readers as well as expertise - books, quizzes, audio books, educational games and bilingual editions in English and Turkish. To date, the books have been sold worldwide, more than 17 million times. They have been translated into 38 languages and implemented as an animated series and feature film. The movie was nominated at the German Film Award 2009 in the category Best Children 's and Youth Film. The aim of the stories is to stimulate through fantasy and adventure children to read, to give children new reading worlds and develop their imagination.
Figures
Lilli is actually a normal girl. Believe it anyway, until she finds a magical book in her room, which makes it the witch. In her stories, it 's always about that Lilli stumbles through her witchcraft in an adventure.
Leon is Lilli's younger brother, who mostly annoying, but very happy they did. He is often involved in Lillis witches adventures.
Hector, the little clumsy dragon is Lilli's friend and expert on magic and sorcery.
Surulunda Knorx is an old witch that Lilli has chosen as her successor.
