Linas Balčiūnas

Linas Balčiūnas ( born February 14, 1978 in Jonava ) is a Lithuanian cyclist.

Linas Balčiūnas began his career in 1999 with the cycling team Saint- Quentin- octospiders. In his second year he won the prologue of the Ster the Beloften, a stage of the Tour de l' Ain and the one-day race Prix de la Ville de Soissons. In 2001 he moved to the French AG2R Prévoyance Équipe, where he won a stage of the Tour de Picardie for themselves. Since 2005 Balčiūnas riding for the Professional Continental team Agritubel. In his first year there, he secured a stage win at the Tour du Poitou -Charentes and was third overall, as before in the Tour of Belgium.
