At the site of the old, dilapidated courthouse, the new Logan County Courthouse was built in 1905. This Courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Today, Lincoln is because of the connection to President Abraham Lincoln, as well as a nostalgic way station on the trail of the historic Route 66 from tourist importance.
