Linda DeScenna

Linda DeScenna ( born November 14, 1949 in Warren, Ohio) is an American production designer.

Life

DeScenna began her film career in 1977, first in television, where she worked on the sci-fi series The Fantastic Journey and Logan 's Run at the scene image. In 1979, she worked at the science fiction film Star Trek: The film, for which she received her first nomination for an Oscar. Their next collaboration in a science fiction movie, Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, taught her an Oscar nomination. The mid to late 1980s, she worked several times with Steven Spielberg, for The Color Purple, she was a third time Oscar - nominated. Overall, she was nominated five times for an Oscar, but was never able to win the award.
