Lindenau (crater)

Lindenau is an impact crater in the southern part of the Moon front, southwest of Mare Nectaris, southwest of the crater Piccolomini and northeast of Rabbi Levi. The crater is only slightly eroded and has concentric structures inside on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by German astronomer Bernhard von Lindenau.
