Lindsay Tanner

Lindsay Tanner ( born April 24, 1956 in Orbost, Victoria ) is an Australian politician.

Life

After leaving school, Tanner studied at the University of Melbourne law and history. Tanner is a member of the Australian Labor Party. February 8, 1993 to July 19, 2010 Tanner was a member of the Australian Parliament. Since December 3, 2007 Tanner is the successor of Nick Minchin Minister for Finance in Australia.

Following the resignation as an MP in the Australian Parliament Tanner got a job at Victoria University in August 2010. Tanner lives with his family in Alphington, Victoria, and is a member of the Anglican Church of Australia. Tanner has four children from two marriages.
