Linn Ullmann

Linn Karin Beate Ullmann ( born August 9, 1966 in Oslo) is a Norwegian writer, journalist and child actress.

Life

Linn Ullmann is the daughter of Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman. Her siblings and half-siblings include the actresses Anna Bergman and Lena Bergman, actor Mats Bergman, the director Eva Bergman, and directors in January Bergman and Daniel Bergman.

She had been in 1971 and 1978 in films on her mother's side small roles and debuted as a writer in 1998 with Før you sovner. She lives and works in Oslo and is there a cultural journalist for the daily newspaper Dagbladet.

In 1997 she participated at the International Film Festival in Cannes, deputizing for her father, the palm of the palm trees as " Best Director of All Time" counter. In 2011 she was appointed to the jury of the 64th Cannes Film Festival.

Ullmann has been married to the poet and playwright Niels Fredrik Dahl. The couple has a daughter.
