Lipa, Jawor County

Lipa [' lipa ] ( Deutsch. Leipe ) is a town in the municipality Bolków in powiat Jaworski in Lower Silesia.

History

Mention the place is 1295-1305 as Lypa ( Polish / Slavic Linde ) for the first time.

The highest population reach the meantime incurred districts Goldleipe, Kalkleipe, Lower, Middle, Upper - Leipe in 1871 with 1334 inhabitants. In 2004 708 residents were counted.

Church of St. Peter and Paul

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul ( kościół parafialny pw Sw. Apostolov Piotra i Paweł ) is a converted 17th century in the late Gothic building from the 14th century. Inside is a special treasure a triptych from 1503 in the main altar.

In the three parts of the town there are several historic buildings from the 16th to the 19th century:

  • As an end of the 19th century to the Palais -developed former farmhouse from the end of the 16th century (House No. 10) in Lipa Dolna,
  • A mid-18th century landscaped park in Lipa Dolna,
  • The ruins of a 16th century in the 2nd half of the Renaissance, and possibly converted (built by the Templars? ) 1836 Neo-Gothic reconstructed former castle from the 13th century on a hill in Lipa Gorna,
  • Built in 1720-1765, a Baroque villa ( No. 23 ) (1925 and 1960 rebuilt ) in Lipa Sredna
  • A 1870 converted to the Palais Renaissance courtyard of the 17th century (House No. 21) in Lipa Sredna
  • Another ruin on a hill on the way to Jastrowiec in Szubienica
