Lipno, West Pomeranian Voivodeship
Lipno ( German New Liepenfier ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the rural community Połczyn -Zdrój ( Bad Polzin ) in the powiat Świdwiński.
Lipno is located eight kilometers south of Połczyn -Zdrój on a side road link to Złocieniec ( Falkenburg ) in the middle of Drawski Landscape Park ( Landscape Park Pomerania ). Lipno is a district within the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Połczyn -Zdrój.
By 1945, the town belonged to the district of Pommern (now Polish: Szczecinek ) on the border with County Belgard ( Persante ) ( Białogard ). 1939 the village had 244 inhabitants.
New Liepenfier had its own school, which was also attended by children from Gauerkow ( Gaworkowo ) and Klockow ( Kłokowo ).
Church- owned New Liepenfier once to St. Mary's Church in Bad Polzin, then Bramstädt ( Toporzyk ) in the church circle Schivelbein ( Świdwin ) of the Ecclesiastical Province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union.
Today Lipno belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg ( Lutheran ) Church.
