Lipová (Cheb District)

Lipová ( German Lindenhau ) is a municipality in Okres Cheb in the Carlsbad Region in the Czech Republic.

History

A place Lintich ( Linth, Lyntich, Lindau ) is detectable since the year 1299 and was located on a hill above a 440 acres of woodland, which existed until the 17th century and located between the Lindauer Bach ( Rohrbach ) and the Stabnitzer creek between Losau and Stabnitz, stretched. This forest was purchased by the Lords of Metternich, which after 1620 during the Thirty Years War, the basic rule Königswart had received in western Bohemia, located at Castle Königswart were; should an estate be settled and built taxable farmers.
