Lisa Larson

Lisa Larson ( born 1931 ) is a Swedish artist and mainly as a ceramist.

Lisa Larson studied during the years 1950-1954 ceramics at the Art School slöjdföreningens skola in Gothenburg. From 1950 to 1980 she worked at the porcelain factory Gustavsberg, where she had been by Stig Lindberg, the artistic director there, enlisted.

She was known for her lovingly designed figures, made ​​in ceramics, including All the series Världens barn ( All the Invisible Children ) for UNICEF, Luciatåget ( Luciazug ), Skansen and Lilla zoo. From collectors coveted is the figure of Pippi Långstrump, which was also loved by Astrid Lindgren.
