List of cities in Bhutan

The list of cities in Bhutan provides an overview of the population of the larger cities and towns of the South Asian state of Bhutan.

By far the largest agglomeration in Bhutan is Thimphu with a population of 98 676 ( 2005 census ). Thus, 15 percent of people in the country live in the capital region.

The following table shows the largest cities and towns of the country, the results of the census of 31 May 2005 and the district ( Dzongkhag ), to which the city is listed. The inhabitants numbers refer to the actual city without suburban belt.
