List of early-modern journals
The list of early modern magazines should provide guidance on the provision of periodicals (excluding newspapers ) for the period from the beginning of printing to 1800. An arbitrary decision is what a journal, what a magazine is. The fair catalogs, which appeared twice a year, were not counted in the period itself to these journals. The same applies to how the various competing projects of historical Relationes that in the German-speaking traditional journalistic battles still in the 16th century, or the large collection of art from the styles of the Theatrum Europaeum for annals. They are not listed in this list.
