List of EuroFloorball Cup winners

The Euro Floorball Cup (abbreviated EFC, also known as Floorball European Cup ), the European Cup in Floorball ( Floorball ). It is awarded each year to the winner of the final round for both men and women. The tournament, which officially until 2007 European Cup (or European Cup, European Cup in English ) was called, was first held in 1993. Current champions (2010) are Storvreta IBK for men and IKSU Innebandy among women.

History

The competition took place in 1993 for the first time. First winner for the men was in Stockholm Balrog IK from Sweden, among women in Helsinki, also from Sweden club VK Rasket. Up to and including 1999, the tournament was held together with the qualification within a year. 1999 as the qualification in November took place in late December the final rounds. Between 2000 and 2008, the Cup was held eight times a calendar-year across. Since 2008 is played back within a year. The Swedish team AIK Innebandy ( for men) and IKSU Innebandy ( for women) are record title holder of the Euro Floorball Cup. So far, all winning teams came from Sweden, Finland or Switzerland. From 2011, the format of the competition has changed. It was founded in the Champions Cup, to which the Euro Floorball Cup only constitutes a qualification.
