Ada (Hebrew: עדה depends " decorate " along with; LXX: αδα; Vulgate: Ada ) is a biblical figure in the Book of Genesis. She is the first wife of Lamech, the son of Metuschaels, and the mother of Jabal and Jubal.

It is mentioned in Gen. 4.19 to 23 EU:

" Lamech took two wives; the one was Adah, the other Zillah. Adah bare Jabal: he was the ancestor of those who dwell in tents and in the livestock. His brother 's name was Jubal; he was the ancestor of all harp and organ player. "
