List of national parks of France

France currently operates ten national parks, which are subject to a public- sector bodies the Ministry of Environment. Basis of the French national parks is a law of 1960, which regulates the duties and conditions of the national parks. The main objectives are the protection of nature, the reception of visitors and participation in local development. The seven parks in metropolitan France include a total of 0.66 percent of the total.

As more areas of the Iroise Sea is to follow in the future.
