List of protected areas of Sierra Leone

National Nature Reserves in Sierra Leone will be determined by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security and entertained by the wildlife authority within the Forest Department of the Ministry. Many of the proclaimed protected areas but managed effectively locally and financed by international development aid and organizations such as BirdLife International. National supporters is the Conservation Society of Sierra Leone.

It can be distinguished from state protected areas in three ways:
