Literaturpreis der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
The Literature Prize of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation was established by the then Chairman of Bernhard Vogel Konrad -Adenauer -Stiftung in 1993.
With this literary prize authors have since been held annually to recognize both " of political and social significance " as " evidence of aesthetic- literary quality " whose works also; they shall be in accordance with the award criteria " orientation instances in times of changing values ." Will be honored authors of "freedom give her word."
The award is endowed with 15,000 euros and is awarded annually in Weimar. The Executive Jury currently has the Cologne literary scholar Birgit Lermen.
