Little Amadeus

Little Amadeus - The Young Mozart is a German animated series, which was created in 2006 as a co-production of ARD and KiKA the occasion of the 250th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In parallel with the series took place in Germany around Amadeus Mozart Elementary Action Days, a KiKA summer tour, a Little Amadeus Opera, Little Amadeus Live and other actions take place.

The 26-part series tells the stories of childhood and life of the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The focus is on the figure of eight year's " Little Amadeus ", which is funny, alert, curious, a little bit cheeky and adventurous. But above all, Little Amadeus is a musical prodigy who composed his first piano piece at the age of five years. The hero solves his problems often through music.

Action

Located are the first two seasons of the television series ( with 13 episodes) in Salzburg the second half of the 18th century, where Little Amadeus lives together in the cereal alley with his parents, his sister Nannerl, his best friend Cajetan Hagenauer and his family. Little Amadeus (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, full baptismal name: Joannes Chrysostom Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart): Amadeus is not yet eight and already a little star in Salzburg in the mid-18th century. Nannerl Mozart: Maria Anna, known to all as Nannerl, is, five years older sister of Amadeus. She plays the piano and violin almost as brilliantly as her brother, but as a girl she must occur at the time, not alone, but only together with him. But it is not envious of Amadeus, but helps him where she can. Again and again they can be infected by his fantastic ideas and then behaves not the best they ever would be, but like a buddy like a little lady.

Pumperl: The dog Pumperl sticks his curious dog's nose like in other people's affairs and will not let adventures with his master Amadeus. This could often backfire would Pumperl not born savior. Mario Carrieri: Devilius ' nephew Mario ( a fictional character ) is only a little older than Amadeus. In GATEWAY4M more fine music & media GmbH appear from 2006, nine radio plays by Manfred Steffen about the series on CD. The first seven each have a day of the week as a theme.
