Little Village

Little Village was an American rock band. It was founded in 1992 by Ry Cooder ( guitar ), John Hiatt (vocals, guitar, piano ), Nick Lowe (bass) and Jim Keltner (drums). They took with producer Lenny Waronker at Reprise Records album Little Village on and toured in the U.S. and Europe. A concert of this tour in April 1992 in Chicago was released as a double CD of the ( specializing in live recordings ) record company, The Swingin 'Pig Records under the title Stage job. The " supergroup " held as often in such projects, not long and dissolved in the same year again.

The name of the band, the musicians Sonny Boy Williamson II proved their respects. His play of the same name was released in 1969.
