Live Rust is an album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, which was recorded in October 1978 and published a year later. The double LP is the soundtrack to the film Rust Never Sleeps, but lack the Introduction and the title Thrasher and Welfare Mothers. Unlike the previous album, Rust Never Sleeps, which was recorded at various concerts of the same tour in 1978, Live Rust is the recording of a single concert in which the audience track was not removed. Thus, the album just as a live recording are visible.

The editors of the German Rolling Stone called Live Rust in 2001 as the best live album of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America is recorded in February 1988 from platinum. In the Billboard 200 charts the album was ranked number 15 and the single Hey Hey, My My ( Into the Black ) number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100
