Livingstone Bramble

Livingstone Bramble ( born September 3, 1960 in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands) is a former professional boxer from Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Career

Livingstone Bramble started his professional career in the United States on 16 October 1980.

He won on June 1, 1984 WBA belt at lightweight against Ray " Boom Boom " Mancini by heavy KO in round 14 in the rematch, which took place on February 16, 1985, he won over 15 rounds convincingly on points. Two times he was able to successfully defend the title: against Ray Mancini and against Tyrone Crawley ( heavy KO in round 13). He lost his title on 26 September 1986 when he KO against Edwin Rosario in the second round went.

In the following years, however, a significant performance decline was noticeable. He lost his last 36 fights twenty times, including against Oba Carr, Roger Mayweather, Buddy McGirt, Kostya Tszyu. Following this series of defeats, there are no recorded fights more of him, but he never announced his official retirement from boxing.
