Life

Mitchell moved with her family at the age of eleven years to London. In 1969 she was awarded after an audition exposure to the musical Hair. The following year, she took over in Berlin on vocals by Donna Summer, which had previously occurred in Munich. There she met Malcolm Magaron, with whom she conducted a relationship over the coming years.

Les Humphries Singers

Between December 1970 and the autumn of 1972 Mitchell was a member of Les Humphries Singers. Together with Malcolm Magaron she left the band; they released afterwards under the name of Malcolm and Liz and Malcolm's Locks phonograms, which are commercially available but were unsuccessful.

Boney M.
