Liz Stefanics

Elizabeth " Liz " Stefanics ( born November 9, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio) is an American politician (Democratic Party).

After her schooling in Ohio Stefanics studied at Eastern Kentucky University, then Administrative Sciences at the University of Wisconsin and then law at the University of Minnesota. From January 1993 to December 1996 she served on the Senate of New Mexico. Successor in office was Phil Griego.

Since January 2009 Stefanics is a member of the Santa Fe County Commission. For many years she was involved in the organization Open Hands. Furthermore, she was Director of the New Mexico AIDS Services.

Stefanics is partnered with Linda Siegle.
