Llangefni Town F.C.

Llangefni Town is a Welsh football club based in Llangefni, Anglesey. The club is currently playing in the Welsh Alliance League Division One, the third highest Welsh league.

History

The Llangefni Town Football Club was founded in 1897 and was among the founding members of the Anglesey League, which is the fifth highest league in the league system today. From the early club history until the end of the 1990s won numerous championships and cups Llangfeni Town in unterklassigen Welsh leagues. In the 2006/07 season the club achieved the championship in the Cymru Alliance, one of two leagues to the second highest level, and thus the promotion to the Welsh Premier League. When Premier League debut Llangefni Town but failed and got as Table after a year off. In the 2009/10 season the club was again champion of the second division, but got no license for the Welsh Premier League, which was further reduced to 12 teams. After the 2011/12 season the club was relegated last but one from the third-class Welsh Alliance League Division One, in which he is with four championships record champions.
