Lochbach (Itter)

The hole Bach is a river in Solingen. It rises several sources at the top Hofschaft Scheidt in Solingen Graefrath and ends in Solingen- Ohligs left side in the Itter. Older names are Lobach, Lohbach and Laubach for the upper reaches, Brosbach or Brobach for the lower reaches of the stream.

Parts of the Lochbachtals are designated as habitat protection areas, which are furnished eV by the Foundation for the Protection of Animals and Nature Solingen and entertained. In historical times were on the course of the stream eleven characteristic of the Bergische Land grinding cotta.
