The Technical University of Łódź (Polish: Politechnika Łódzka ) is a technical university in the Polish city of Lodz. The Technical University of Łódź was born on 24 May 1945, 525 students at the then first four institutes: Institute of Mechanical, Electrical Department, Chemistry Institute and Textile Fibers Institute.

Student radio Żak

From III. Dorm Politechnika is since May 18, 1959, the " student radio Żak " ( Studenckie Radio Żak Politechniki Łódzkiej ), one of the oldest college radio stations in Poland operated. Today the radio is to receive both FM 88.8 MHz and via live stream on the Internet.
