Loewe additivity

The Loewe additivity ( Loewe additivity engl. ) is a model for describing the dependence of the effects of two active compounds from each other. Other models such as the Bliss independence (in German, independence after Bliss ').

Properties

The Loewe additivity describes the additive effect of two agents of the same mode of action. Assuming a largely independent of its own concentration effect each have on a same site of action and mechanism of two analogs of a certain effective concentration of the same effect as just one of them in the double dose.
