Lohn Estate

The farm wage is a campaign in the community Kehrsatz, Canton Bern, Switzerland.

It was built in 1782-1783 by Carl Ahasuerus by Sinner in early classical style for Beat Tscharner Emanuel ( 1753-1825 ). In 1897, the family sold by Tscharner to the legal historian Friedrich Emil Welti. This, a son of Emil Welti Federal bequeathed it by will of the Swiss Confederation as a recreational seat for the members of the government.

Since the death of Welti's second wife Helene chamber Welti (1942 ) the wage serves as the guest house of the Federal Council. The in Switzerland usually only once successful annual visits by foreign heads of state, the state banquets are held in wages. Previously cultivated the state guests to stay in the wage.

The large park is partially open to the public. On some days per year the house for the public will be made available.
