Lol is a river in the region of Bahr al - Ghazal in Southern Sudan, which flows into the Bahr al-Arab ( Kiir ). It rises in the Bongo Massif, near the border with the Central African Republic.

In Uwail the railway line from Babanusa crosses after Waw the river. On its banks is the Ashana National Wildlife Refuge.

Since the area of the demarcation line between North and South Sudan is located just south of the river, it was repeatedly hit in the wake of the Civil War in South Sudan from fighting and displacement.
