Lola Gaos

Lola Gao ( Gao's actually Dolores González Pola, born December 2, 1921 in Valencia, † July 4, 1993 in Madrid) was a Spanish actress.

Life

Gao 's family exiled after the Spanish Civil War to South America, where she began her stage career. In 1945, she returned to her native country, with the theaters under Mercedes Prendes, Mary Carrillo and Guillermo Marin on tour, where she performed numerous classics. In 1949 she was the first time, worked for the short El sótano, for the film. In the following two decades it has been a sought-after actress with directors such as Luis Buñuel, Luis García Berlanga, José María Forqué or Juan Antonio Bardem.

When Spanish television, she joined in 1957 at the first time and worked in some well-known series such as Los Tele -Rodriguez and the frivolous ironic Historia de la frivolidad, Historias pata no dormer or Tres eran tres with.

Multiple Gao was excellent; so she received in 1972 and 1975, the Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos and 1970, the price of the Spanish film company.
