Lombard-Pápa TFC

Lombard Papa FC is a Hungarian football club based in the western Hungarian town of Papa, was established in 1995 as Pápai Egyesített Labdarúgó Club. The club colors are blue, yellow and black. The football team wears their home games at Perutz Stadium, which can hold about 5,500 spectators, from.

The first team is relegated in season 2005/ 06 from the Nemzeti National Championship I, the first Hungarian football league tables as a tail light in the second league. For the 2009/10 season Lompard Papa rose again in the Nemzeti National Championship.

The company " Lombard " (Financial Accounting ) operated a few years ago first as a title sponsor in Tatabánya ( Lombard FC Tatabánya ), then in Szombathely ( Lombard FC Haladás ). From Szombathely the company's professional team finally transplanted as a license holder, after Papa.

In the first season in the NB I Lombard Papa managed as Fourteenth still extremely scarce in the league and represented Hungary in the following season, even in the Intertoto Cup. In the first round of the club against WIT Georgia Tbilisi prevailed 2-1 and 1-0. In round 2, Papa pulled against the Swedish giants IFK Gothenburg honorably from the affair ( 2:3 / 0:1), but dropped out.
