London Blitz (American Football)

London Blitz is a football team from England, which is located in the athletics stadium in London's Finsbury Park.

History

The football team London Blitz was created by a merger of the former teams Ealing Eagles (1984-1994) and Woking Generals ( 1988-1993 ). In the 1997 season she played for the first time in the UK's first division. In the years 2006 to 2012, she reached seven consecutive Brit Bowl, which they won in 2007 and 2009 to 2012 respectively.

International, the London Blitz was originally brought in 2010, where they penetrated immediately into the semifinals of the EFAF Cup. A year later, they were able to bring in 2011 the first European title with the EFAF Cup. In the 2012 season they competed in the European Football League. As group winners in the first round they then failed in the quarterfinals at the Berlin Adler.
