London Central Mosque

The London Central Mosque is a mosque situated in the City of Westminster on the western edge of Regent 's Park in north-west of central London. It is the largest mosque in London.

In the main hall to 5,000 worshipers can be accommodated, together with the women in the gallery.

The mosque is affiliated with the Islamic Cultural ICC, the King George VI. was officially opened in November 1944. The land was a gift to the Muslims in the UK, and in return received the land from George VI. a place in Cairo for All Saints Cathedral. The mosque, a white building with a 25 meter high golden dome was completed in 1977 and has a minaret.
