Long Point (Ontario)

Long Point is a sandy strip of land in the northern part of Lake Erie and part of Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada. The strip of land is about 40 km long and up to one kilometer wide.

All year around 450 inhabitants live there. During the summer months, the number rises to 5,000 people who live in huts or camping. Long Point is very popular for water sports such as sailors, swimmers, anglers and canoeists. Every year around 100,000 tourists to spend their summer vacation in the place.
