Long Valley is a town in Morris County, New Jersey in the United States.

According to the last census in the United States, the city's population in 2000 was 1,818 inhabitants, spread over 654 households and 502 families. Originally the town was named German Valley and went back to a creation by German settlers in the 18th century. After the war, the U.S. entry into World War II, the city was however renamed in Long Valley.
