Looking Back with Love

Looking Back with Love is a solo album by Mike Love, one of the founding members of the U.S. band The Beach Boys. It was published in 1981 by the record company Boardwalk.

Formation

Mike Love began early in 1977 to work on a solo album. The album First Love contains a series of self-written songs. However, it was rejected by the record companies for alleged poor quality. A song from this period - Sumahama - was released in 1979 on the album LA (Light Album) by the Beach Boys.

1981 Love took a second attempt to release his own album. Bandmate Carl Wilson currently also working on his solo album, Beach Boys projects were not planned at that time. As a producer was hired by Mike Love Curt mug that had been 1979, the Beach Boys single Here Comes the Night ( USA # 44) produced. Mike Love contributed only a single song as a co -author for his album.
