Lorenz Lemlin

Lorenz Lemlin (also: Lawrence Lemlin; * 1495, † by 1549) was a German composer of the Renaissance.

Lemlin studied in Heidelberg, and was a singer and later Kapellmeister of the local Hofkantorei. Among his students Georg Forster, who recorded many of Lemlins songs in his collection Fresh teutsche little song, and Jobst Brandt, Caspar Othmayr and Stefan Zirler.
