Loreto Vittori
Loreto Vittori ( baptized on January 16, 1604 in Spoleto, † April 23, 1670 in Rome ) was an Italian singer ( neuter ) and composer.
He was educated in Rome and was a pupil of Giovanni Bernardino Nanino, Francesco Soriano and Francisco Soto de Langa. He was then first as a singer in Loreto and Spoleto and was from 1622 until his death as a soprano singer in the papal chapel in Rome.
In addition to some of his time very popular operas and solo arias he created three oratorios ( " Ignatius of Loyola ", " Sant'Irena " and "La Pellegrina ").
