Loros de la Universidad de Colima

Loros de la Universidad de Colima is one belonging to the Universidad de Colima football team based in Colima, the capital of the Mexican state of Colima.

History

The professional team of the Loro (Spanish for Parrot ) was founded at the beginning of the 1980s, and first played in Tercera División of. Ten years later, the University sold the license of the association, who took henceforth under the name Club Deportivo Colimense.

In the season 1992/93 " Colimense " won the championship of the Tercera División and was promoted to the Segunda División at the time still second-rate.
