Los Guerreros

The Los Guerreros were a tag team in wrestling, which always consisted of at least two members of the Mexican family Guerrero. As a popular representation is the union of Eddie Guerrero and his nephew Chavo Guerrero in the WWE.

Eddie and Chavo

On 1 August 2002 Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit came to Smackdown. The two had previously formed a tag team in RAW. Since Benoit focusing on Kurt Angle, Eddie necessarily allied with his nephew, Chavo. In contrast to a previous WCW storyline Chavo took over the tactics of his uncle, to lie, to cheat and steal to win fights. It short singleplayer ( vignettes ) were filmed, where the two inter alia, schwindelten to come into the house of a rich woman and to organize a pool party there.

Her first major appearance was in the eight- team tournament for the new WWE Tag Team titles. Here the two began a feud with Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, who acted at that time as a team. One of the most memorable moment was announced as Chavo Chris Benoit, his former friend Eddie would be attacked by his tag team partner Kurt Angle. Benoit and Angle managed to push aside their differences and beat Los Guerreros in the semifinals of the tournament. Later, Benoit and Angle won the title. Much to her surprise, Los Guerreros helped them but then to win the final match.

Los Guerreros were given a new opportunity to win the title. They had to compete against the new champions Edge and Rey Mysterio. At Survivor Series 2002 Rey Mysterio was forced to retire after a " Lasso from El Paso ." With this victory, the Los Guerreros began their reign as WWE Tag Team Champions until they were defeated by Team Angle later.

Los Guerreros participated at WrestleMania XIX as contenders for the title part, but just before Judgment Day, Chavo tore up the biceps. Of necessity, Eddie had to look for another partner. He chose Yoshihiro Tajiri and together they could at Judgment Day win the title in a ladder match. Since Eddie soon parted relative of his new partner Tajiri the title to Los Gurreros is attributed.

After the Los Guerreros lost the Tag Team belts this time to the Basham Brothers, Eddie and Chavo hostile. This led to a match at the Royal Rumble in 2004, which Eddie could decide for themselves. There was no further merger of the two. Eddie died in 2005 of heart failure. He was found in his hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Chavo Guerrero and Chavo Classic

After the Tag Team had failed with Eddie, Chavo himself teamed with his father and former manager Chavo Classic. As a team, managed the two no significant successes, Chavo Classic was unfairly depicted in the show more as a comedian as a wrestler and was later released.

Chavo Guerrero and Vickie Guerrero

WWA and PFW
