The Lötschenlücke is a heavily glaciated mountain pass in the Bernese Alps, its height is around 3'170 m. Situated between the almost 4,000 meters high noon horn in the northwest and 200 meters lower saddle horn in the south, is the Lötschenlücke one of climbers frequented pass crossing from the Loetschental to Konkordiaplatz on the Great Aletsch Glacier; they will be in the running in the opposite direction, ski tour exceeded the Jungfraujoch Blatten. Westward flows from the summit of the long glacier from the Loetschental. To the east of the saddle is the Aletschfirn, one of the great firn basin which feed the effluent of the Rhone Valley Aletsch Glacier.

A little above the Lötschenlücke lies on a projection of the debasing of the noon horn burr the Hollandia ( 3,240 m), a high mountain refuge of the SAC for mountaineering and ski touring.
