Lotte Kiærskou

Lotte Faldborg Kiaerskou ( born June 23, 1975 in Frederikshavn ) is a former Danish handball player.

Kiaerskou began six years playing handball at Strandby Ellinge IF. Later Lotte moved to Frederikshavn FI, with which it was in 1997 Danish Vice-Champion. In 2001, she joined Viborg HK. With Viborg backcourt player won the championship twice (2002 and 2004), once the Cup ( 2003) and before the EHF Cup ( 2004). In 2005, she finished her career due to pregnancy. After the birth of her daughter was Kiaerskou 2006-2008 Assistant Trainer at Randers HK, where they occasionally as a player was on the field. Later they took over Overlund GF a youth team, in playing her daughter.

Kiaerskou played 111 matches for the Danish women's national handball team. With 414 hits, it ranks seventh in the eternal scorer in the Danish selection. With Denmark she won in 2000 and 2004 Olympic gold medal. In addition, the right-handed in 1998 European silver medalist.

Lotte Kiaerskou led to October 2011, a registered partnership with the Women's Handball Rikke Skov.
