Lough Conn

Lough Conn (Irish Loch Con) is the largest lake in County Mayo in the province of Connacht in Ireland. It covers approximately 57 square kilometers and is very popular with fly fishermen. With its immediate neighbor, the Lough Cullin in the south, it is joined by the River Moy with the sea. He has more the character of a mountain lake through its stony shore. A number of islands ( Annagh, Castle, Glass and Roe Iceland ) is located south of the peninsula Errew. Not far from its northern shore lies Crossmolina, a hiker's paradise.
