Lough Lene

Lough Lene (irish hole Léinn ) is a lake in north County Westmeath in Ireland.

It is located near the villages of Castlepollard, Collinstown and Fore, about 12 miles (19 km ) northeast of Mullingar, Westmeath capital and largest town in the Irish Midlands.

The Gletscherrandsee has an area of 5 km ² (500 acres ). It is located about 97 meters above the sea level. In the lake there are three islands: Now 's Iceland, Iceland Castle and Turgesius Iceland.
