Loughborough F.C.
Loughborough Football Club (formerly Loughborough Town ) was an English football club from Loughborough, Leicestershire, the 1895-1900 five seasons in the Football League Second Division completed.
Succession clubs
- Loughborough Corinthians: Founded in 1903, the club was successful in some FA Cup games, but he broke away, like its predecessor club, 1933.
- Loughborough United: founded in 1960, after also a few FA Cup games and the victory of the Midland League in 1973, the club was disbanded.
- Loughborough FC: founded in 1988, tried in the Central Midlands League, dissolved in 1990
- Loughborough Athletic: Today's successor club, founded in 2001, dabbled in the Midland Football Combination, but dismounted and now plays in the 13th English top flight, in the North Leicestershire Football League.
