Louis A. DeSimone

Louis Anthony DeSimone ( born February 21, 1922 in Philadelphia ) is a retired auxiliary bishop in Philadelphia.

Life

Louis Anthony DeSimone received on 10 May 1952, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 27 June 1981 as Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia and Titular Bishop of Cillium. The archbishop of Philadelphia, Cardinal John Joseph Krol, donated to him on 12 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishops John Joseph Graham and Martin Nicholas Lohmuller from Philadelphia.

On April 5, 1997, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
