Louis Arsene Delaunay

Louis Arsene Delaunay (* March 21, 1826 Paris, † September 24, 1903 ) was a French actor.

Delaunay attending the Conservatoire 1843-45 and made his debut in 1846 at the Odéon, where he played for two years youthful lovers. In 1848, he appeared as Dorante on in " Menteur " at the Théâtre Français and was only two years Societär.

Among his many creations on the first stage of France stand out in particular in the Émile Augiers pieces, such as " Le fils de Giboyer " ( German: " A Pelican ," Laube ) and " Paul Forestier ," in many Proverbes of Alfred de Musset, the " Lion amoureux " by François Ponsard and in " Hernani " by Victor Hugo produced, in which latter he celebrated one of its greatest triumphs. Married Delaunay was with the actress Marie Favart.
